Make Beliefs Comix

Some teachers may have a use for this comic strip maker. The menu options are easy to learn, such as resizing characters and moving talk balloons. I did encounter a few glitches when creating the example you see here, but nothing that would upset your students. Make Beliefs Comix would work best with 5th and 6th graders, but 4th graders would have success, too. There are other similar ones available....Google search "free comic strip maker" and/or ask about Comic Life.

Voice Thread Explained

Voice Thread is difficult to explain. I've tried to tell what it is while driving a van full of teachers to TIES...two years in a row. I don't think my descriptions went over very well, either time. This time I used Jing to record a short video from the Voice Thread site that explains it better than I did and it's safer, too.

General Comments

Want to share the successes you are having with using technology in the classroom or computer lab? Maybe you have a story to tell that will help inspire others to try out something new. Questions are welcome, also.

The First 4000 Words

I went to the bottom of the webpage and chose to view the demo. The demo shows an exercise for our youngest students but it is worth a look by all.
